Denise Brittingham

Denise Brittingham (nee Stewart), of Troy, MO, passed away Tuesday, July 28, 2026, at the age of 67. Devoted mother of Justin Stewart, Megan (Andy) Babula, and Adam (Nichole) Brittingham; loving grandmother of Erica, Tyler, Carleigh, Chloe, Addison, and Caleb. She is preceded in death by her two grandchildren, Braydin and Madilyn.

Denise had a passion for cooking and baking; her family cherished many favorite meals and treats she lovingly prepared. Intelligent and organized, she took great pride in earning her nursing degree and was always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. She liked to better herself through education and would often ask people, “tell me what you know”. She had an adventurous spirit and loved to travel, embracing new experiences wherever life took her. Denise was an avid reader, loved playing solitaire, and had a deep appreciation for history, especially the colonial era and the French Revolution. Denise was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
