Delores Mary Ann Mayo

Delores Mary Ann (nee Lewandowski) Mayo, of O'Fallon, Missouri, passed away, Sunday, September 20, 2020 at the age of 93. Loving wife of the late Robert J. Mayo; beloved daughter of the late Stanislaus and Rozalia Lewandowski; devoted and loving mother of Deacon Robert (Jean), Michael (Mary Murray), David (Diane), Jeanne (late Robert) Pesold, and James (Anne); cherished grandmother of David (Jocelyn), Robert, Matthew, Rev. John, Daniel (Lyndsai), Christina, Rachel (Daniel) Chaves, Justin (Christina), Kristen, Aimee and Zachary; special great-grandmother to Fox and Hailey.

Delores was a loving sister, wife, mother, aunt, and friend to many. She took particular joy in baking Christmas cookies, breads and preparing special desserts. She reached out to many in need and was a member of the Immaculate Conception Dardenne St. Vincent DePaul Society. She loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and was an active member in the community. She had a passion for reading, quilting and playing cards with her friends. Delores was a devout Catholic and received the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church before she passed from this earth.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the St. Vincent DePaul Society at Immaculate Conception Parish in Dardenne, Missouri.
