Delores Katherine Mallinckrodt

Delores Katherine Mallinckrodt (nee Gravemann), of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Saturday, February 21, 2026, at the age of 92. Beloved wife of the late William H. Mallinckrodt; cherished daughter of the late William and Verna Gravemann; devoted mother of Luke (Cindy) Mallinckrodt, Robin (Ralph) Steinhoff, and Linda (Rich) Heckman; loving grandmother of Brandon Mallinckrodt, Danielle Rush, Bradley Heckman, Preston Steinhoff, and Paige (Evan) Stewart; treasured great-grandmother of Sophia Stewart and Stella Stewart; dear sister of four siblings who also preceded her in death, three brothers, Ray Gravemann, Virgil Gravemann, Kenneth Gravemann, and one sister, Ruth Ell; aunt to a host of nieces and nephews, and beloved friend of many.

Delores was married to the love of her life, William, for 52 wonderful years, and together they enjoyed Saturday nights spent dancing, relaxing at the Lake of the Ozarks, and taking memorable vacations. Delores retired from McDonnell Douglas/Boeing after being a sheet metal riveter for more than 20 years.  A determined and talented woman, Delores was a gifted seamstress who lovingly created quilts, clothing, and beautiful embroidered pieces. She enjoyed bowling, cheering on basketball, and, most of all, spending precious time with her grandchildren. She was a devoted and active charter member of Good Shepherd UCC in Saint Charles. Delores was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
