Deborah Kay Wasson

Debbie worked for 40 years as an interior designer and independent sales representative in the furniture industry. After retirement, Debbie went to work for McCauley's Animal Clinic as a Client Care Specialist. She had a passion for cats and dogs (especially her own dog, who incidentally was named Gucci Chanel), and more importantly for helping people! Debbie absolutely loved her job and all the wonderful people she encountered there! If she wasn’t at work or with family, you were sure to find her antiquing, decorating or shopping with one of her best friends, Victoria Franklin. TJ Maxx was one of her favorite spots to walk the aisles. She was spunky, vivacious and had a larger-than-life personality. She was a firecracker with a big heart. Debbie was a classy fashion forward person. Her red hair was her signature style. Most of all, Debbie adored her family and friends. She cherished every moment spent with each of them. 

Debbie was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Memorials may be made either to Infant Loss Resources of Missouri in memory of her beloved granddaughter, Sydney Freedline, or Five Acres Animal Shelter.
