Deborah “Debbie” Heinsohn
October 19, 1957 — December 22, 2021
Deborah “Debbie” Heinsohn, of Wentzville, MO, passed away Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at the age of 64. Devoted mother of Scott Heinsohn; loving grandmother of Mason Heinsohn; precious aunt to Jodi Johnson and other nieces and nephews; dear sister-in-law of Joan Baggett and Jan Ostander.
Debbie is preceded in death by her parents, Gertrud “Trudy” and Raymond “Ray” Ostrander and her siblings, Chuck Ostrander and Sandy Culinovic.
Debbie worked in Labor & Delivery at SSM St. Joseph West Hospital for 30 years before retiring. She took excellent care of the patients and babies. Beyond her role in the hospital, Debbie was a wonderful caregiver to her family, friends, and to everyone in her life. She was always very giving of herself to everyone.
Family was the most important part of Debbie’s life. She and her sisters-in-law truly loved spending time together, and they were known as the “Golden Girls.” She loved her sond and grandson more than anything; they were her pride and joy. She enjoyed her time with Mason, whether it was taking him to the movies or on vacation.
Debbie always wanted to see, go, and do, which created her love for travel. She especially enjoyed visiting anywhere there was a beach. She loved just sitting on the beach and watching the tide come in.
Debbie was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Memorial contributions may be made in Debbie's name to the American Heart Association.
