David Edward White

Jul 3, 1983 — Oct 9, 2026

Saint Peters, Missouri

David Edward White, age 43, was born on July 3, 1983, in San Diego, California, and passed away on October 9, 2026, in St. Peters, Missouri. Dave will be remembered as a devoted husband, loving father, caring son and brother, and a loyal friend whose humor, wisdom, and unwavering love for his family left a lasting impact on those fortunate enough to know him.

Dave was a family man. He absolutely adored his wife, Lauren, and his three daughters, Layla, Claire, and Paige. Being a husband and father was his greatest joy and the role he cherished more than anything in the world. His family was his everything, and he found happiness in the life they built together and the memories they made along the way. He was happiest with the people he loved, and he never needed much beyond his family and his music to feel at home.

Dave had a wonderful sense of humor and a gift for making people laugh, often finding just the right joke or words to brighten someone's day. He was caring, supportive, and someone people could turn to when life became difficult. Whether a person needed advice, encouragement, a listening ear, or simply someone to lean on, Dave had a way of being there when it mattered. He was a great friend and a steady source of support. His ability to connect with people and his natural gift for conversation were evident in every part of his life.

Professionally, Dave was a natural salesman. He had a remarkable ability to connect with people, understand what they needed, and find the right words to bring an idea to life. His personality, quick wit, and gift for communication made him a true natural in his field.

Outside of work, Dave found joy in the things that made life meaningful to him. He loved journaling and writing, using words as a way to express himself and capture his thoughts. Music was a constant companion, and it was rare to find him without an earbud in, listening to something he loved. His passion for music was simply part of who he was.

Dave was a devoted St. Louis Cardinals fan and treasured opportunities to attend games with his family. He also took great pride in being a hot sauce and Mexican food connoisseur, always eager to try something new and discover his next favorite. He enjoyed fishing and spending time in nature, appreciating the peace found in life's quieter moments.

Dave also had a curious, technical side. He loved technology, building Raspberry Pi projects, and working on computers. When a project caught his interest, he could become completely immersed in it, happily learning, creating, troubleshooting, and figuring out how to make it work. He had a passion for understanding how things worked and the satisfaction of bringing an idea to life.

At his core, Dave was a man who believed in simple living. He didn't need extravagance or a lot of material things to be happy. The things that mattered most to him were the things that could never be bought: family, love, friendship, music, and time spent doing what he enjoyed. He found richness in everyday moments, and that is a part of his legacy that will live on through the people who loved him

Dave is survived by his wife, Lauren (Pennington) White; his three daughters, Layla White, Claire White, and Paige White; his mother, Patricia (Harl) White; his father, Clarence White; his brother, Geoffery (Darlene) White; his mother-in-law, Leanne (Newman) Pennington; and his sister-in-law, Emily Pennington: his uncle David Harl; his aunt Sue White and cousin Justin White. He is also survived by an extended family of aunts, uncles, cousins, and family members by marriage, along with many dear friends whose lives were touched by his kindness, humor, and friendship.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Virginia Eagle Harl; his paternal grandparents, Ruben and Mae Dell White; his father-in-law, James Pennington; and his uncle, Mike White.

Though Dave's time here was far too short, the love he gave, the laughter he shared, the advice he offered, and the memories he created will remain with his family and friends. His daughters will carry his love with them throughout their lives, and the life he shared with Lauren will forever be a meaningful part of their story. He will be deeply missed, always remembered, and forever cherished by those who were lucky enough to call him husband, dad, son, brother, and friend.
