David Ray Mayer

David Ray Mayer, of O’Fallon, MO, passed away Saturday, October 21, 2023, at the age of 61. Cherished son of the late William and Delores Mayer; devoted father of Elizabeth (Samuel Beaman) Mayer, and Danielle Mayer; and dear brother of Debbie (Mike) Gostowski, and Susan (Andy) Julian.

David, an alumnus of Southern Illinois University Carbondale, was the proud owner of Midwest Industrial Services Inc., for nearly 25 years. His passions included hunting, fishing, scuba diving, golfing, and cooking for his friends and family. David's caring, outgoing nature and sense of humor endeared him to those who had the privilege of knowing him, and his absence will be deeply felt by all.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a date not yet determined by the family.
