Bernat, David Lee, of Saint Charles, MO, died Monday, February 29, 2016, at the age of 54. Cherished son of Delores Bernat and the late Henry Bernat; devoted father of Nick Bernat and Cody Bernat; loving brother of Karen Ermeling, Nancy Seay, Dennis (Susie) Bernat, and Tracy Bernat. He was a beloved Brother-in-law, nephew, uncle, cousin, and friend to many.
David retired from Boeing after 27 years of service. He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church of St. Charles. He loved coaching his sons’ little league baseball teams growing up. In more recent years, he enjoyed being an usher for the St. Louis Cardinals. He was dearly loved, and will be missed by all who knew him.
Memorials may be made to Immanuel Lutheran Church of St. Charles or American Mental Health Foundation.
