David "Dave" Wayne Larkin

David "Dave" Wayne Larkin, of Saint Peters, MO, passed away Wednesday, May 27, 2026, at the age of 73. Beloved husband of Jodell Larkin; cherished son of the late Martha and James C. Larkin, Jr.; devoted father of Heather (Matthew) Struble and Brandon (Meghan) Larkin’ loving grandfather of James Struble, Elizabeth Struble, Anna Larkin, Lillian Larkin; dear brother of Bruce (Sheryl) Larkin, Rick (Pat) Larkin, and the late Jim (Sandra-living) Larkin.

Dave was married to his high school sweetheart and the love of his life, Jodell, for nearly 55 wonderful years. They enjoyed traveling together, spending time with friends, and participating in a variety of organizations. He served in the Missouri Air National Guard from 1971 to 1977. Dave earned a Bachelor of Science in Business at West Texas State University in 1980. He was a dedicated 3rd degree Master Mason of the Pride of the West Lodge #179 and the St. Charles Lodge #241. Dave was also a member of the Moolah Shrine; participating in a singing group known as the “The Moolah Chanters.” 

Dave was a dedicated, 3rd degree Master Mason Known for his boisterous personality and commanding presence, he was someone who could always be heard when he spoke. A passionate history buff, Dave enjoyed learning about the past, as well as watching movies and testing his knowledge with trivia. Above all, he cherished his family, especially his children and grandchildren, and considered family the most important part of his life. Dave was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Memorials may be made in Dave's name to Shriners Hospital.
