Darrell W. Surles

Darrell Wayne Surles Sr., of Foley, MO, passed away Friday, May 12, 2023, at the age of 62. Cherished son of the late Dorothy and Carlton E. Surles, Sr. Devoted father of Darrell Wayne (Tanisha Gildersleeve) Surles, Jr., Jake (Krystal) Wills, Courtney Surles, Christian Surles, and Michael Smith; loving grandfather of Destinee Surles and the late Devon Surles; dear brother of Patricia Surles, Wanda Surles, Lamont Surles; loving companion of Tracy Marshall; uncle, cousin and friend to many. Darrell is preceded in death by two sisters, Sandy Surles and Jackie Surles; brother, Carlton Surles; and dear friend, Victoria Smith; Jr. 

Darrell was an avid sports fan and was quite the athlete. He had a passion for baseball and coached the local youth in Chicago. He also loved to watch football, basketball and tennis. Besides sports, Darrell also loved listening to music and singing. He had a caring heart, lending hand, and always had quick witty responses. Darrell was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. We will always love you, Pops.
