Darrell Keith Gray

Darrell Keith Gray, of Saint Charles, Missouri passed away on Monday March 19, 2018, at the age of 65.

Beloved husband of Terry Gray (nee Crump) of 39 wonderful years.  Cherished son of Joyce Gray and the late Benjamin Gray; devoted father of Crystal Gray, Lincoln Gray, Heather (William) Floodman, and Samantha (Lyle) Shallenberger; loving grandfather of Scarlette, Elaine, Fiona, William, and Sadie; dear brother of David Gray, Steve Gray, and Scott (Cathy) Gray, brother-in-law of Carla (Duane) Cox, and Casey (Denise) Crump, nephew of Rose Beach and Kay (Jim) McElvain.

Darrell was born and raised in Mt. Vernon, Illinois and attended Mount Vernon Township High School where he was a “basketball star.”   He had a strong religious belief that helped guide him through his life. He shared this by teaching Sunday School for many years at the First Baptist Church of Perryville in Perryville Missouri. Darrell was a loving, kind and generous person. No matter how busy he was, he always made time to be at every game or event that his children participated in. His family was everything to him and he was very proud being a “PaPa.”  Darrell was dearly loved and will be missed by all who knew him.
