Daniel P. Travers

Daniel Phillip Travers, of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Thursday, March 28, 2024, at the age of 86. Beloved husband of Kathleen Travers; cherished son of the late Oliver and Matilda Travers. Devoted father of Steve (Darnellie) Travers, Colette Travers, and Keith (Meredith) Travers; loving grandfather of Brittany Travers, Amanda (George) Blakely, Cody Schonlau, Lorelei Travers, Genevieve Travers, and Luke Travers; treasured great-grandfather of Castiel, Ronan, Juliet, Hudson and Guinevere.. Preceded in death by his daughter, Colleen Travers.

Daniel cherished a 60-year union with his beloved wife. Their shared passions included traveling, camping adventures, and a profound appreciation for jazz music. Daniel's fondness for music, particularly jazz, was undeniable. His enthusiasm for automobiles extended beyond mere admiration; he relished both tinkering with them and engaging in drag races in his prime. He also found joy in fixing things. Proficient in automotive matters, he displayed a notable skill set. An avid sports enthusiast, Daniel held a special affinity for the St. Louis Cardinals. He possessed a hearty appetite, a strong work ethic, and an infectious sense of humor, delighting in the occasional joke. A devoted family man, he prioritized his loved ones above all else, guided by his unwavering faith as a devout Catholic. Daniel was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
