Daniel Joseph Henry

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St Vincent De Paul Society of Assumption Parish. Henry, Sr., Daniel, of O'Fallon, Missouri, died on Sunday, May 11, 2008 at the age of 81. Beloved husband of Doris R. (nee: Hayes); dear father of Daniel J. (Maggi) Henry, Jr., Cathy (Clay) Herchenroeder and Jennifer (Scott) Hanson; dear grandfather of Christopher, Kelly and Kevin Ashcroft; Dan III, Rachel and Michael Henry, Kyra and Nicole Hanson; dear brother of the late Mary Fox, Catherine Stack and Bill Henry. He was our dear uncle, brother-in-law, cousin and friend. Dan achieved the rank of Staff Sergeant in the Army in the Korean War was a tank driver in the Iron Triangle. He retired disabled in 1983 from the International Brotherhood of Teamsters Local 600. He belonged to VFW Post 5077, Amvets 106 and Moose Lodge 1513.
