Daniel “Danny” Hoffman

Daniel “Danny” Hoffman of Saint Charles, MO, left on his Solo Flight on Monday, January 30, 2017, at the age of 88. Loving husband of the late Jean Hoffman; beloved son of the late Walter T. and Anna Pearl Hoffman; devoted father of Celia (the late Tom) Bennett, Mike (Rainey) Hoffman, John (Carol) Hoffman, and Carl Hoffman; grandfather of Jim Smith, Bryan (Tiffany) Smith, Jessica (Eric) Welles, Angie (Ray) Stormer, Jeremy Hoffman, Josh Hoffman, Brandon Hoffman, Andrea Hoffman, and Aaron Roth; great-grandfather of 15; dearest and best friend of Siegfried Schottenhaml; Danny is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. He was preceded in death by brother, Bill Hoffman, and sister, Mary Ann Hoffman.

Danny proudly served in the United States Army Air Corps. He had passion for airplanes and going to air shows, as well as guns and hunting. Danny had a love for building things, detailed work and restoration. He was an animal lover and treated them just like family. Danny was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
