Curtis Prante

Curtis Prante, of O’Fallon, MO, passed away Thursday, February 24, 2022, at the age of 78. Beloved husband of Cheryl Prante; devoted father of Susan (Thomas) Meister and the late Trisha Prante; loving grandfather of Mira Prante and Nathan (Taylor) Sims; dear brother of Pam (Bob) Heuermann; loving uncle of Rob (Missy) Heuermann and great-uncle of Jake Heuermann and Haleigh Heuermann. He is preceded in death by his parents, Nelle and Charles Prante.

Curtis was a member of St. Johns United Church of Christ for many years. Curtis and his wife, Cheryl, were married for 53 great years. During their time together, they traveled to many places and Curtis always had great stories of their adventures together. His family meant everything to him. He loved spending time with them and loved them unconditionally. He was a very kind, caring person, and he never knew a stranger. He would always make you feel welcomed. Curtis enjoyed collecting model trains as a hobby and had an impressive collection. Curtis was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Curtis's name to Oasis Food Pantry.
