Craig S. Rayfield

November 20, 1965 — September 17, 2025

St. Charles

Craig Steven Rayfield, of Saint Charles, MO, passed away September 17, 2025, at the age of 59 Years. Cherished son of Andrea Jean McReynolds and the late Winston Lee Rayfield; devoted father of Katelynn Ann Bassler and Spencer Alan Rayfield; loving grandfather of Sarah Dee Saffa; dear brother of Melody (Phil) Neff, Kelly Campbell and Cecil (Marilyn) McReynolds; loving uncle to numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.

Craig Rayfield was a free spirit who lived life with generosity, kindness, and adventure. A talented athlete in his youth, he set records in football and wrestling at Fort Zumwalt High School, and his love for sports continued throughout his life, especially in watching college football and bowling. Craig had a passion for motorcycles, proudly owning a Yamaha Raider, and enjoyed spending time outdoors fishing and target shooting. He was deeply giving, always ready to lend a hand and never saying no when someone needed help. Craig’s career as a truck driver took him across the country, where he traveled close to two million accident-free miles in his 18-wheeler, memorizing the roads of America and developing a special fondness for the beauty of Utah. Above all, Craig cherished his family. He was a devoted father, a wonderful and kind grandfather who adored his granddaughter, lovingly nicknaming her “Monkey,” and she in return called him “PawPaw.” He was a beloved son, brother, and a great friend to many, always keeping close ties with those he loved.

Craig was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
