Courtenay Sharpe of Saint Charles, MO, departed much too soon Sunday, March 18, 2018, at the age of 38. Beloved wife to Robert “Nick” Nicholas Eugene Sharpe; cherished daughter of Anthony “Tony” Joseph and Deidre Ann Savarino; devoted mother of Anthony "Tony" Sharpe and Leanne Sharpe; loving sister of Ashley (Rick Erlitz) Savarino; loving canine companion Piper; and sweet aunt to Michael and Izzabella, cousin, and friend to many.
Courtenay was a bright soul and loved meeting new people. She enjoyed reading, cooking, and caring for her family. In 2007, due to events of an unfortunate gallbladder issue, Courtenay and her son Tony were guests on the Ellen DeGeneres show and recipient of many other awards. She was immensely loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Memorials may be made to the Courtenay Sharpe Memorial Fund for the future care of her children (in care of Robert Sharpe) in Courtenay’s honor.
