Corine “Coke” Fischer

Fischer, Corine "Coke", of St. Charles, Missouri, died on Tuesday, October 19, 2010 at the age of 90. Beloved daughter of the late Lawrence A. and Louise C. Fischer; loving sister of Kenneth A. Fischer; dear sister-in-law of Albertine Fischer and Emma Eloise Fischer, loving aunt, great aunt and great-great aunt to many nieces and nephews . She is preceded in death by siblings, LaVerne (Ollie) Bredensteiner, Viola (Eugene) Lyons, Ralph Fischer and Lawrence Fischer. In her youth, Coke participated in Municipal Softball in the St. Louis area and the surrounding states. An avid sportswoman and fan, she enjoyed her family’s participation from the seasons with loyalty, win or lose. Coke retired from Southwestern Bell after nearly 35 years and her career in St. Charles brought her many more lifelong friends. Over the past one and one half years, Coke has been a resident of Mt. Carmel, and has been blessed with the wonderful love and care that they and the Heartland Hospice staff provided. Memorials may be made to St. Peter Church Window Restoration Campaign, Masses or Duchesne High School.
