Cora A. “Sue” Myers, born February 29, 1940, passed away peacefully surrounded by love, family and her “grand cats”. A rare leap‑year baby with an even rarer spirit, Cora filled every room with warmth, sharp wit, and a humor that could lift even the heaviest day. Her laughter was unmistakable—quick, clever, and often delivered with the perfect one‑liner only she could craft.
To her children, she was more than a mother—she was a best friend, a confidante, and a steady source of comfort, honesty, and joy. She is survived by her children, Charles Stock and Dr. Lori Stock, DC who will forever carry her love and guidance in their hearts.
Sue cherished her family deeply. She was the proud grandmother of Randall (Jean) Farley, Christopher Stock, and the adoring great‑grandmother of Grace Marie and Emma Jean. She also held a special place in her heart for her cherished daughter‑in‑law, Kim Craig, whose bond with Cora was filled with mutual respect, affection, and gratitude.
She found joy in life’s quiet moments—especially in a good book and in watching the birds outside her windows. She also loved her pets dearly and took great joy in caring for animals, offering them the same gentleness and devotion she shared with the people in her life.
She devoted her life to caring for others, offering kindness without hesitation and wisdom without judgment. Her legacy lives on in the family she cherished, the friends she uplifted, and the countless lives she touched with her compassion, humor, and unwavering love.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in her name to 5-Acres Animal Shelter, or St. Jude Children’s Hospital, honoring her lifelong love of animals and children.
Her presence will be deeply missed, and her memory will remain a blessing to all who loved her.
