Concepcion Reyes, of Saint Peters, MO, passed away Thursday, August 6, 2026, at the age of 83. Cherished son of the late Jose and Rosalinda Reyes; devoted father of Mario J. Reyes, Ricardo L Reyes, Margaret Elizabeth Garcia, and Tammy Toland; dear brother of Rafaela Rivera; loving owner of his cat, Minnie; and numerous extended family members in Puerto Rico and extended family in St. Louis.
Concepcion proudly and honorably served in the military. He was Vice President of the UAW local 2250 Gm Union, and after retiring, became a member of the American Legion. He was outgoing and loved to spend time with people and make them laugh. Concepcion loved to have big parties for holidays and wanted to have a full home full of friends and family so that he could BBQ. He loved dancing; If there wasn't a dance floor, he would make one. He wanted to be on the move and take walks when he could. As a dedicated politician, Concepcion always wanted to be involved and make a change for his community. He was very proud of his heritage and being from Barahona, Morovis, Puerto Rico. Concepcion was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
