Cloyd Cox was married to Janet Cox for 61 years. He is survived by his wife Janet and four children: Mary, Roderick, Elizabeth and Robert; Daughters-in-law: Drusilla and Lisa, Son-in-law: Tony; and six grandchildren and 4 great-granddaughters.
He was a Veteran of the United States Army, a life member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW), a life member of the Disabled American Veterans (DAV), a life member of The Order of United Commercial Travelers (UCT). Cloyd served on the Board of Directors of the Pike County YMCA and he served as a Board Member of the Missouri State Board of Realtors.
A ceremony with Full Military Honors will by held at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
