Beloved husband of the late Elsie Hodge; loving son of the late Marvin Nathan and Ann Miller Hodge; dear father of Nancy (Joseph) Brown and Cheryl (Ray) Ogle; dear brother of William Hodge and the late Jessie, Burt and Albert Hodge; dearest grandfather of 6 and great grandfather of 6. Mr. Hodge served in the U.S. Navy from December 1942 to October 1945. He received the following awards and decorations: Combat Aircrew Wings with three Engagements Stars; Presidential Unit Citation Awarded U.S.S. Natoma Bay (CVE-62) with Participation Star; Expedition Medal; Victory Medal; Good Conduct; American Theater (including Aleutian Islands); Asiatic Pacific Theater with three Major Engagement Stars; C.B.I. (China Burma India) Shoulder Patch.
