Clifford J. Johndrow Sr.

Clifford Joseph Johndrow, Sr., of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Wednesday, December 24, 2025, at the age of 82. Beloved boyfriend of Irene Treece; cherished son of the late Clifford L. and Amelia L Johndrow; devoted father of David Johndrow, Cliff (Donna) Johndrow, Jr., Robert Johndrow, and Irene's sons, Derek and Darryl; survived by 4 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by his first wife, Fay A. Johndrow.

Clifford was a proud Navy veteran and a dedicated member of the Local 36 Sheet Metal Workers Union, where he worked faithfully for 35 years before retiring. He was also an active and devoted member of the Elk’s Lodge and a life member of VFW Post 2866, communities that meant a great deal to him and where he formed many lasting friendships; especially enjoying the camaraderie and tradition of the VFW fish fries he always looked forward to. In retirement, Clifford embraced life fully, spending cherished time with family and friends and pursuing his love of golf, including several happy years living on a golf course in Arizona, where days on the course with friends brought him great joy. He shared countless adventures with his beloved partner of 20 years, Irene, traveling together on many cruises and vacations, and along the way Clifford delighted in stopping at Elk’s Lodges across the country to collect pins, each one a reminder of a special place and memory. Clifford was dearly loved and will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate enough to know him.

Memorials may be made in Clifford's name to VFW Post 2866 and the Diabetes Association.
