Clifford C. Mossberger, of Saint Charles, Missouri, passed away Thursday, May 28, 2020 at the age of 58. Loving husband of Julie Mossberger (nee Wegel); beloved son of Dianne and Charles Mossberger; devoted father of Cory (Erin) Mossberger, Brett (Kim) Mossberger, and Alex (Tom Sauer) Mossberger; bonus-father of Ryan Osborne and Madison Osborne; cherished Papa of Parker Louise Mossberger; dear brother of Mike (Mary) Mossberger, Stan (Mary) Mossberger and the late Laura Mossberger. Cliff was also preceded in death by his first wife and the mother of his children, Christine Mossberger.
Cliff was a truly incredible son, brother, husband, father, Papa, and friend. He was never a stranger to anyone he came across. His life was filled with lifting the spirits of everyone around him. His family always came first, and he made sure everyone knew that. From his oldest son’s very first soccer game to his youngest daughter’s last dance competition, Cliff was on the sidelines cheering them on as their biggest supporter and #1 fan.
Cliff was never one to slack off or take a break. He lived by giving everything his 110%; whether it be his 35-plus year employment at Patterson Mold and Tool, or his battle with leukemia. If you told him he couldn’t do something, he’d turn around and show you otherwise! He fought the hardest battle, but kept a smile on his face and hope in his heart. His bright spirit led him through his darkest days. As Cliff would say, “Never give up on anything; if it’s worth doing, it’s worth doing right.”
