Clevie “Bill” Sims

Rev. Clevie “Bill” Sims of St. Peters, Missouri, passed away on Sunday March 18, 2018, at the age of 92. Beloved husband of the late Carmelita R. Sims and Betty Sims; cherished son of the late Grover and Calie Sims; devoted father of Jacky Sims, Debra Knous, and Terry (Laurie) Sims; treasured stepfather of Keith, Richard, Mathew, Tony Schellhardt and Pamel Hoffman; loving grandfather of 10 and great-grandfather of 22; dear brother of Ruth Johnson. He is preceded in death by his siblings Vesta Jordon, Lela Alexander and A.T. Sims.

Bill obtained his GED at age 82 earning the highest grade in his class. He pastored churches in Sparta, Tennessee and Fulton, Missouri, and was engaged in nursing home ministry. Bill was a dedicated family man who treasured spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who he adored greatly.
