Christopher Matthew Kornberger

Christopher Matthew Kornberger, of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Wednesday, January 14, 2026, at the age of 79. Beloved husband of Deborah Kornberger; cherished son of the late Mary Kornberger; devoted father of Nicole Kornberger and Brian (Sara) Kornberger; loving grandfather of Addilynn Kornberger, Deacon Kornberger, and Gracelynn Kornberger. Christopher was also preceded in death by his three dear siblings, John (Marilyn-living) Kornberger, Frank (Mary-living) Kornberger, and Mary (Rich) Racer.

Christopher was married to the love of his life, Deborah, for 54 wonderful years, and together they enjoyed traveling by RV and sharing many adventures. He proudly and honorably served in the United States Air Force and later dedicated 27½ years of service as a St. Louis City police officer. Christopher enjoyed deer hunting and was an avid sports fan, especially of hockey and football. A devoted father and grandfather, he was a quiet man who spoke up when necessary and never complained. Christopher was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
