Christine "Christy" Sturgess

Christy Sturgess (nee Williamson), of Saint Peters, MO, passed away Monday, August 8, 2022, at the age of 63. Beloved wife of Patrick Sturgess; cherished daughter of the late Harold and Frances Williamson. Devoted mother of Candice (Casey) Logue, Blake (Sarah) Miller and Brooke (Michael) Sinklear; loving grandmother of Jude Miller, Drake Miller, Cash Logue, Olive Miller, Nellie Sinklear, Coen Logue, Maylene Sinklear, and Dottie Sinklear; dear sister of Kenny (Mary) Williamson and Cindy (Bob) Roy, and the late Kathy Smalley; sister-in-law of Les Smalley; aunt, cousin, and friend to many.

Christy dedicated over 10 years at BJC Healthcare, working in different positions and cherishing the friendships she made with both patients and coworkers. She was a woman who could talk to anyone and had a caring heart. In her free time, Christy spent time at the pool with her family and friends, a vodka seven up in hand. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren. Christy will be remembered for her larger-than-life presence in any room, her smile, and the many lives that she impacted every day. Christy was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Memorials may be made in Christy's name to Siteman Cancer Center.
