Christine (Chris) Marie (Gegg) Henderson

Christine (Chris) Marie (Gegg) Henderson of St. Charles, MO passed away Thursday, February 20, 2020 at the age of 91.  Devoted mother of Gary (Maxine) Henderson of Oakland TN, Darla (Don) Wertenberger, Randy Henderson, Geri (Bill) Willbrand of St. Charles and Kevin (Lisa) Henderson of Poplar Bluff, MO; cherished grandmother of Stephanie (Jay) Grothe, Heather (Kyle) Lopez, Jennifer (Ross) Terando, Merideth (John) Townsend, Krissi (Sam) Carney, Shane (Sarah) Henderson, Dustin (Joanna) Willbrand, Nick (Nath) Henderson, Jeffrey (Ellen) Wertenberger, Angela (Ronnie) Fink, Aaron and Jacob Henderson; treasured great-grandmother of Olivia Grothe, Tate Townsend, Hudson Terando, Brodie Lopez, Reed Townsend, Ava and Brianna Henderson, Madden Terando, Abby Carney, Parker Townsend, Henry Lopez, Lily Grothe, Molly Carney, Rosie Townsend, Ella Grothe, Frannie Townsend, Owen Carney,  Charlotte Wertenberger and Sebastian Henderson.  She was preceded in death by her late husband Ernest R. Henderson, parents Gilbert and Martha Gegg, brother and sister-in-law Vernon and Wilma Gegg and sister and brother-in-law Gilberta and Vincent Gegg.  She was also preceded in death by a dear little great-granddaughter Mary Katherine Townsend.

Christine was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, where she was a member of the Daughters of Isabella and Ladies Sodality.  She volunteered many hours at church blood drives, socials and funeral masses.  Her greatest joy was spending time with her family and large extended family. She loved to play games with friends and family and was an avid fan of Duchesne High School sports teams and the St. Louis Cardinals. She endeared herself to many and her smile will be greatly missed by family and friends.
