Christine Ann Bargen

Christine Ann Bargen (nee Kiehl), of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Wednesday, March 25, 2026, at the age of 71. Beloved wife of Alvin Otto Bargen; cherished daughter of the late Paul George and Clara Louise Kiehl; devoted mother of Daniel John (Amber) Bargen and Jennifer Rose (Raymond) Krueger; loving grandmother of Landon and Sophia Bargen, Ruth, Lydia, John, Oscar, Samuel, and Clara Krueger; dear sister of Linda (David) Newland, Robert (Karen) Kiehl, Martha (Ronald) Pavletich, and John (Janna) Kiehl; sister-in-law of Kathy Kiehl; loved by numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews. Christine is preceded in death by her brother, Jim Kiehl.

Chris was a devoted and longtime member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and School of St. Charles, where she faithfully served as both a teacher and organist, sharing her deep love of music with her community. She found great joy in teaching piano over the years, inspiring many students with her patience and passion. Above all, Chris cherished her grandchildren, who were the light of her life, and she treasured every moment spent with them. Her kindness, warmth, and gentle spirit touched countless lives, and she was dearly loved by all who knew her. She will be profoundly missed and forever remembered.
