Chester R. Burkett

Burkett, Chester R., of St. Charles, Missouri, died on Saturday, March 24, 2012 at the age of 66. Loving husband of Linda Burkett; beloved son of the late George and Dorothy Burkett; devoted step-father of Gregory Norris and Sherry (Frank) DeLozier; cherished grandfather of Michael Joseph Trexler, Scott R. DeLozier, Samantha DeLozier and P. J. DeLozier; dear brother of Ron (Jean) Burkett, Sandra "Sis" (Loyal Jr.) Stringer, Bob (Billie Smith) Burkett, Judy (Bill) Luye, Jim (Ruth Carolyn) Burkett, and Ted Burkett. He is preceded in death by his siblings Terry (Tom) Sellers, Ruth Marie (John) Atchley, Nancy (Armando) Valdespino and Barbara Jean Burkett. He was also a beloved uncle and dear friend to many. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The American Heart Association, The Diabetes Association, or Humane Society of St. Charles.
