Cheryl Ann Whobrey

Cheryl Ann Whobrey (nee Beck), of Herman, MO, passed away Friday, September 4, 2026 at the age of 81. Beloved wife of over 60 years to the late John Whobrey; cherished daughter of the late Joseph and Edna Beck; devoted mother of Maria (Kevin) Scott and Stacy (Jim) Sullivan; loving grandmother of Nicki (Sean) Jackson, Kevin (Sara) Scott, Morgan Scott and Lauren Sullivan; treasured great-grandmother of Brogan Kelsch, Colton Scott and Cason Scott; dear sister of Wanda Obermark; cherished aunt, cousin and friend.

Cheryl was a true free spirit who cared deeply for others and brought joy wherever she went. She loved having fun, listening to music, singing, and she found happiness in gardening and tending to her beautiful Hermann property. In her free time, Cheryl enjoyed painting and driving her Corvettes and cars that John would refurbish.

Cheryl was a loving and devoted grandmother and great-grandmother who cherished every moment spent with her family. She absolutely adored her husband, John and cherished the wonderful life they shared together. John lovingly called her “Precious,” a fitting name for someone who brought so much love and happiness into his life. Cheryl was dearly loved by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
