Charles Bernard Weber

November 19, 1948 — June 28, 2024

St. Charles, Missouri

Charles B. Weber passed away peacefully on Friday, June 28, 2024, with family by his side. He was 75 years old.

Charles was preceded in death by his parents, Francis and Josephine Weber, one niece, and one nephew. Charles was the beloved brother of Frances (late Glennon) Fuest, Marie (Leonard) Schulte, John (Serena) Weber, Lawrence (Phyllis) Weber, Leogene Weber, George Weber, and James (Carrie) Weber; special friend of Karen Lyon; loving uncle to many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews; loving master of his dog, Midnight; and a treasured friend to many.

Charles was born November 19, 1948, in St. Charles, Missouri. He was a lifetime member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church where in his youth, he was a Mass Server. Charles was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 823.

He was a dedicated and hard-working farmer throughout his life. He was a good steward of the land; his tilling, seeding, and harvesting resulted in land that was increasingly productive. When he wasn't farming, Charles enjoyed several hobbies. As an avid deer and duck hunter, he surely was glad as an adult that he no longer had to dig a smaller hole in the cornfield to make a duck-blind! Anyone who knew Charles knew his garden was legendary; it was more likely to be measured by acre than by square foot. He was also no stranger to pulling in huge catfish from the river, using trout lines and fishing poles. Winters would find Charles butchering with the family, yet another way he helped provide for his family.

Whether he was enjoying his hobbies or working on the farm, he always stayed busy yet always made time to help his friends and family. His giving and generous heart also led him to provide friends and family fresh produce from his garden, pecans, and even squirrel corn.

In the spirit of his generosity, the family requests that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the charity of their choice.
