Charles W. Chuck Werntz

Memorials may be given to VFW Post #10838 St. Peters Beloved husband of F. Charlene Werntz; dear father of Stephen C. Werntz (Caryl), and Terri Ann Leahey; grandfather of Sean Leahey and Sgt. Todd Leahey (Stephanie), Jennifer Wilmes (Brett), Aaron Werntz and Amy Werntz; great-grandfather of Trinity Ann Leahey and friend to many. Mr. Werntz was a survivor of the attack on Pearl Harbor. After the war he attended Missouri Uni-versity Columbia where he received his Engineering Certifi-cate. He was an active member of Mo-Ill Tractor Club, VFW Post #10838 of St.Peters, and an active member of the Pearl Harbor Survivor’s Association.
