Charles Mackey
July 4, 1939 — February 24, 2022
Charles W. Mackey, of Wentzville, MO, passed away Thursday, February 24, 2022 at the age of 82. Cherished son of the late Leo C. Mackey and the late Dolores R. Volk; devoted father of Christopher Mackey, John (Kathy) Mackey, Kevin (Mimi) Mackey, the late Jeffrey Mackey and the late Charlie Mackey; loving grandfather of six; treasured great-grandfather of four; dear brother of the late Donald Mackey and Mary D. Capstick.
Charles proudly and honorably served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He retired in 2018 from C & M Pools, a company he founded over 40 years ago. Charles had an amazing work ethic and also loved having dinner with his friends and socializing. Charles was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Memorials may be made in Charles's name to Siteman Cancer Center.
