Charles Giacopelli

Charles William “Chuck” Giacopelli passed away on August 4, 2025, in O'Fallon, Missouri, at the age of 82.

Born on January 18, 1943, in the United States, Chuck lived a life marked by dedication, resilience, and a deep appreciation for the outdoors. From an early age, he demonstrated a strong work ethic that would define much of his life. He proudly served his country in the United States Army from 1960 to 1963, stationed in Germany during a pivotal time in global history.

Chuck was a devoted family man. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Jill Giacopelli; sons Justin Giacopelli and Austin Giacopelli; and daughter Ashley Giacopelli. Despite these profound losses, Chuck remained a steady presence for his surviving children: Charles James Giacopelli, Meghan Marie Giacopelli, and Nicholas David Giacopelli (Rachel). His legacy continues through his cherished grandchildren: Michael Giacopelli, Daniel Giacopelli, Brady Giacopelli, Marissa Smock, Ella Jones, and River Pavlovsky.

Those who knew Chuck remember him as someone who found joy under the open sky. Whether working or relaxing outdoors, he felt most at peace in the warmth of the sun. His love for nature and tireless spirit left an impression on all who spent time with him.
