Charles F. “Rick” Hafron

Hafron III, Charles F. "Rick", of Dardenne Prairie, Missouri, died on Sunday, July 11, 2010 at the age of 69. Devoted husband of Nancy Hafron (nee: Frederich); dear son of the late Charles F., Jr. and Helene Hafron, dearest father of Laura (Chris) Destella-Whippy, Chad Hafron, Quint Hafron and Christian (Amber) Hafron; beloved grandfather of Thomas Destella, Alex Destella, Roman Destella and Kasaia Whippy; dear son-in-law of Shirley (the late Vernon) Frederich and brother-in-law of Judy Langdon and Cliff (Eleanor) Frederich; Beloved uncle, cousin and friend to many. He is preceded in death by his sister, Heidi Bland, brother-in-law, Daniel Frederich and father-in-law, Vernon Frederich. Rick was employed as a Human Resource Manager with McDonnell Douglas for 27 years and Ameristar for 14 years. He enjoyed playing golf and was a member of the GSLAU - Greater St. Louis Association of Umpires. Memorials may be made to Cardinal Kids Cancer Center or David C. Pratt Cancer Center at St. Johns Mercy Hospital.
