Charles E. “Sonny” Kennard

Charles E. “Sonny” Kennard, of O’Fallon, Missouri, on Friday, October 20, 2017, at the age of 79. Beloved husband of 57 years to Carol A. Kennard; cherished son of the late Charles S. and Gladys E. Kennard; devoted father of Jim Kennard, Bill (Scindy) Kennard, Karen Galuszka, Linda (Calvin) Roam, Bob Kennard, and the late Tim Kennard; loving grandfather of Jason, Bridget (Greg), Michael, Charles, Justin, David, Willow, and the late Kelly; treasured great-grandfather of Austin, Riley and Jayce; dear brother of Betty Erlinger and Frances Rutherford; and beloved uncle to many nieces and nephews.
Sonny was a HAM radio operator for many years and was very talented with electronics, especially computers and radios. He worked for S.C.I. Engineering before retirement. Sonny was dearly loved and will be missed by all who knew him.
In leiu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in memory of Charles “Sonny” Kennard (c/o Carol Kennard).
