Charlene Kay Stratton

Charlene Kay Stratton (nee Pitchford), of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Friday, July 4, 2025, at the age of 85. Devoted daughter of Budd and Laura Faye Pitchford; cherished mother of Cynthia (John) Henderson and Stephanie Stratton; loving grandmother of Jason (Courtney Schoen) Nevois, Rachel Nevois, Emily (Travis) Klippel, Brianne (Samuel) Jines, Kayla (Robert Noll) Zeiss, and Scott Stratton-Henderson; treasured great-grandmother of Rosalyn, MacKenzie, Makayla, Brooklyn, Hunter, Ian, Holden, Lucas, Harper, Peyton, Colson, and Bennett; dear sister of Lois O'Keefe and Carol Laity. Preceded in death by her daughter, Stacey L. Nevois and her cat, Punkin.

Charlene retired after 25 years of dedicated service as a teacher in the Ferguson-Florissant School District. A proud member of the teachers’ association, she touched countless lives through her passion for education. Outside the classroom, Charlene found joy in sewing and cooking, and she especially loved celebrating Christmas and the Fourth of July. She also took pleasure in spending time in her hometown of Longmont Colorado with her mother during the summertime. However, her greatest happiness came from spending time with her family and creating cherished memories together. Charlene was dearly loved and will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
