ARMITSTEAD, Chaplain (COL) John E., Wentzville, MO, May 29, 2007 age 50; devoted husband of Beverly Cobb Armitstead, dear son of James W. and Jeanne M. Armitstead; dearest father of Stephanie, Jonathan and Natalie Armitstead; preceded in death by his brother, James William Armitstead, Jr. COL Armitstead was an Active Military Colonel in the U.S. Army serving as a Staff Chaplain. He was selected to attend the Army War College in Carlisle PA in 2006.
