Loving husband of JoAnn Johnston (NEE: Waiches); beloved son of the late Charles and Katherine Johnston; devoted father of Gregory Johnston, Christopher (Jennifer) Johnston, Johnathon (Katy) Johnston, and Katie Johnston; cherished grandfather of Aubrey, Henry, and August; dear brother of Dayton (Carol Jean) Johnston, Dennis (Laura) Johnston, Kevin (Brenda) Johnston, Charlie (Lynn) Johnston, Judy (Kenny) Tucker, and Tommy (Debbie) Johnston.
Chapin was employed with IBEW Local #1 as an Electrician for 40 years. He enjoyed going fishing and hunting.
