Cathy Ann Thomas (nee Seabaugh), of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Monday, September 2, 2024 at the age of 61. Beloved wife of Robert Wesley Thomas, Jr.; Cherished daughter of Hester Sebaugh and the late Donald Seabaugh; Devoted mother of Carley (Nicholas Gumm) and Morgan (Taiyana) Thomas-Poore; Loving grandmother of Skylar Marie Gumm and Adalyn Kaye Gumm; Dear sister of Karen (Alan) Schroeder; Loving aunt to 10 nieces and nephews. Also preceded in death by her niece.
She was one of God's blessings that He shared with this world. Strong in her Faith in God and Jesus Christ.
Married to her best friend and love of her life Rob Thomas for 43 years. A special and one-of-a-kind marriage; like NO other. Her smile and laugh were so infectious, she would light up the entire room. The only thing bigger than her smile, was her heart. She was the kindest person God put on this Earth. Her charismatic nature always had her thinking about and concerned about someone else.
She shared a love for sports. The STL Blues and Cardinals gave her many nights of fun.
Either being down at the stadium with friends or watching the games on TV; they were her favorite.
Lifelong friendships were a staple in Cathy's life. She shared a special bond with the people she met no matter where they came from. The neighborhood girls she grew up with were never far from her mind. Her soccer team that she shared many nights, competing and spending time together. The gymnastics moms that she spent many years watching their children compete and grow up; continued to come together long after gymnastics was over. Even down to her work friends that she greeted with a welcoming smile each morning. Being Cathy's friend was never hard; her kindness was contagious.
Her love for her family was everything to her. As a mother, she was the best. Only to be surpassed by her love of being a grandma (Mimi).
Cathy was the Rock of the Family. Through so many adversities, she stood strong next to her Husband and together they overcame any set back or challenges they faced. Together they could always endure. She fought a courageous fight with an unwavering spirit. Her constant positivity was the single light in a dark room. Her ability to laugh and smile was inspiring to everyone around her. Even when the odds were stacked against her, she never lost her determination.
She was and always will be one in a million.
