Cathy “Birdy” Rupcinski

Rupcinski, Cathy "Birdy", of St. Peters, Missouri, died on Tuesday, February 22, 2011 at the age of 58. Loving wife of Mark Rupcinski; dear daughter of Katherine Laurent and the late Walter Burgdorf; dear sister of Lee (Mary) Burgdorf, Gary Burgdorf, Linda Descheda, Susan (Charlie) Hixon, and sister-in-law of Joan Rupcinski, Chris Rupcinski, and David Rupcinski. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Mrs. Rupcinski was employed as a trainer at Boeing for 41 years before she retired. She was also active in the Susan G. Komen Foundation, and a supporter of the Special Olympics. She was a St. Louis Cardinals fan and enjoyed fishing for catfish. Memorials may be made to Susan G. Komen Foundation or Special Olympics.
