Catherine O'Connell

Catherine O'Connell (nee Sievers), of Saint Louis, MO, passed away Thursday, June 20, 2024, at the age of 76. Beloved wife of the late James A. O'Connell, III. Devoted mother of Christine (Dave) Trotter, Sandra (Dan) Doherty, and Rebecca O'Connell; loving grandmother of Christopher, Danielle, Colleen, Jimmy, Mary, Ashley, Abbie, Emma, Lilly, Joshua, and Cecellia; treasured great-grandmother of 4.

Catherine was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She loved her family and the beloved forever “Golden Girls”.

Catherine will be Fortified with the Sacraments of the Holy Mother Church on June 27, a shared birthday with the forever love of her life, James A. O’Connell III.

Memorials may be made in Catherine's name to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
