Catherine Laurentius

Catherine Laurentius (nee Messina), of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Wednesday, July 29, 2026, at the age of 93. Loving wife of the late Edward "Pop" Laurentius; beloved daughter of the late Vito and Sarah Messina; devoted mother of Ed (Donna) Laurentius and Steven (Joyce) Laurentius; cherished grandmother of Sarah (Jon Parker) Laurentius, Michael (Jackie Karmann) Maggio, Jonathan (Ashley) Laurentius, Kristina (Cory) Gettemeier, Melissa (Marc) Telander, and Sophie Feraro; treasured great-grandmother of Beckett, Asher, Mya, MacKenzie, Dylan, Aubree, Emmett, Mason, Wesley, Wyatt, and Oliver. Catherine is also preceded in death by her brothers, Jack and Joe Messina, her daughter, Kathy Feraro and her son, Jimmy Laurentius.

Catherine was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Cottleville, MO. She was a devoted mother and a great friend to many. Catherine was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Memorials may be made in Catherine's memory to the charity of the donor's choice.
