Catherine M. Blake
May 23, 1950 — February 17, 2023
Catherine “Cathy” Marion Blake (nee Cargill), of O'Fallon, MO, passed away Friday, February 17, 2023, at the age of 72. Beloved wife of Michael “Mike” L. Blake; devoted daughter of the late Drew Cargill and Norma (EJ) Russell; dear step-sister, aunt, cousin, and friend. She is also survived by her four-legged companion, Butter.
Cathy taught for many years through the Winfield School District. She was a proud member of Grace United Church of Christ where she also participated through their Crafty Corner. Cathy was a big St. Louis Cardinals fan, a very talented cook, and a talented seamstress. She will be remembered for her kindness and the love she showed her family, friends, and her cats, who she adored. Cathy was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Memorials may be made in Cathy's name to Hope Food Pantry or Grace United Church of Christ.
