Carrol "Kathy" K. Johnston

Carrol Katholene Johnston (nee Owsley), of O’Fallon, MO, passed away Saturday, November 8, 2025 at the age of 86. Loving wife of the late Jesse Johnston; beloved daughter of the late Desta Gant and Lewis Donald Owsley; devoted mother of Gary (Norma) Hix, LaDawna Hix, and Shawnda (John Young) Hix; and grandmother of many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Carrol is also preceded in death by her first husband, Ralph Hix and her brothers, James Owsley and Danny Owsley.

Carrol was a devoted member of the Assembly of God Church in Camdenton, Missouri. She had a passion for quilting and found great joy in spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Carrol loved attending garage sales and never passed one by without stopping to browse. She was dearly loved and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
