Carol Sue Nachtmann

Carol Sue Nachtmann (nee Wilhelm), of O’Fallon, MO, entered into her eternal rest on Thursday, May 14, 2026, at the age of 87. Cherished daughter of the late Leonard and Ruth Wilhelm; beloved wife of the late Bernie Nachtmann; loving mother of Lynn (Jim) Brougham, Scott (Tammy) Nachtmann, Tim (Sheri) Nachtmann, and Kristen (Eric) Ruttencutter; doting grandmother of Nicci, Danny (Kait), Mike (Amber), Leigh (Allen), Ryan, Sam, Sarah (Jorge), and Claire, and adoring great-grandmother of Brantley, Eleanor, Maddie, and Jack; precious cousin and friend.

Carol was a devoted member of St. Joseph’s in Cottleville, and a former member of Assumption in O’Fallon, St. Martin de Porres in Hazelwood, and Corpus Christi in Jennings. Carol treasured time spent with her family and friends. She enjoyed filling her days with attending mass, saying her rosary, cooking, bird watching with her pups at her feet, watching Christmas movies year-round, and playing games. Carol was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated in her honor at St Joseph's Church in Cottleville, MO on Saturday August 15, 2026 at 11:00 am with a reception to follow.

In lieu of flowers a memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph's Catholic Church Faith in Action Capital Campaign.
