Carol A. McGee

Carol Ann McGee (nee Hustedde), of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Wednesday, June 26, 2024 at the age of 82. Beloved wife of over 60 years to Richard A. McGee; cherished daughter of the late Henry and Helen Hustedde; devoted mother of Karen (Allen) Scott, Mike McGee and Brenda (Robert) Noah; loving grandmother of Nick (Morgan), Ashley (Ali), Nathan, Nicolette, Jory and Alina; treasured great-grandmother of Landon, Colin and Kinsley; dear sister of Mary (the late Jerry) Brooks and Barbara (Richard) Langston. 

Carol and Richard were high school sweethearts and she adored him dearly. She was a proud member of the Church of God-Droste. She had many jobs throughout her career, where she helped many people. Carol worked as a unit secretary at St. Joseph Hospital, at a nursing home, a daycare, as a caretaker and even teaching driver’s education. 

In her free time she enjoyed boating and going to her lake house where she would swim and enjoy the sun. She liked going on vacation around the United States, camping with her family and traveling with Richard after retirement. Carol always had a fun time shopping, going out to eat and trying new things. She was fun-loving and could always be found laughing. Carol was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. 

Memorials may be made in Carol's name to Alzheimer’s Association.
