In Loving Memory of Carol R. Faulkner
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Carol R. Faulkner, a devoted wife, loving mother, and cherished grandmother. Carol departed this world peacefully on November 23, 2023, surrounded by the warmth of her family's love.
Born on October 27, 1936, Carol was the beloved wife of Anthony (Tony) Eric Faulkner, and together they celebrated 66 remarkable years of marriage. Their enduring love served as an inspiration to all who were fortunate enough to witness the bond they shared.
Carol was the proud mother of four children: Karen (Faulkner) Williamson (John), Phyllis (Faulkner) Kale (Tom), Dan Faulkner (Denise), and Rob Faulkner.
Her legacy extended further as the adored grandmother of John A. Faulkner, Dana M. Faulkner, and Scott A. Kale (Regan). Her family was her greatest joy, and she found immense fulfillment in the roles of wife, mother, and grandmother.
A woman of many passions, Carol was an avid book reader, finding solace and joy in the world of literature. Her appreciation for music and Cardinal baseball added a vibrant rhythm to her life. Carol took pleasure in the simple joys of taking leisurely walks with her faithful companion, Bella, and she found great satisfaction in being a dedicated homemaker, creating a warm and welcoming environment for her loved ones.
In celebration of Carol's life, her family wishes to honor her memory by fulfilling her only request for her memorial service. As a fitting tribute, they will play Bob Seger's "Old Time Rock and Roll" - a song that encapsulates the spirit of joy and celebration that Carol brought into the lives of those around her. It was her wish that everyone dance and be happy, reflecting the lively and vivacious nature that defined her.
Carol R. Faulkner leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and unforgettable moments. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. May her soul rest in eternal peace, and may her family find comfort in the beautiful memories they shared together.
Memorials may be made in Carol's name to the Alzheimer's Association.
