Carol Esther Ehrich

Carol Esther Ehrich (nee Pursley), of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Thursday, March 5, 2026, at the age of 93. Cherished daughter of the late Frank and Esther Pursley; devoted mother of Christopher (Mirtha) Toomey, Julie Toomey, and Lauren (Jon) Toomey; loving grandmother of Krystne Toomey, Michael Toomey, Meagan (Ryan) Hyde, and Colleen (John Forbush) Taylor; treasured great-grandmother of Annalise Hyde, and Anderson Forbush; dear sister of Linda (Lou) Houlle, Martha "Marty" (the late Bob) Meyers; precious aunt, cousin, and friend.

Carol was kind and generous and loved spending time with family and friends. She had a special love for animals, especially dogs, and enjoyed sharing a good lunch with those she cared about. A wonderful cook, she was a devoted mother and grandmother who brought warmth to her family. The family would like to thank the SSM Hospice team for their compassionate care. Carol was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
